アメリカデイコ（ゴ）
アルゼンチンの国花。鹿児島県の県花、南アメリカに自生し原産地では湿地に好んで生育し、花の色は鮮やかな紅色で目を引きます。花序は新しい枝に着きます。比較的暖かい地域の街路樹などでしたが、最近の温暖化の影響か関東の方でも栽培可能になってきました。
